The main lodge building accommodates the restaurant and a comfortable lounge area, where guests can sit back and enjoy a chilled beverage whilst savouring the view from the lounge deck. The restaurant focuses on creating innovative and delicious meals by combining traditional home style cuisine infused with a local twist, and avails of a fully stocked wine cellar offering fine South African wines. The restaurant serves al fresco lunches and set dinners, either seated in the restaurant or in the Boma area under a million African stars. Our meals are prepared with fresh ingredients, and are often infused with local flavours to create unique and tantalizing dishes.

Visitors to the lodge have the following included in their rate:

  • Dinner - Bed - Breakfast

  • 2 x Game drives per day with a complimentary bottle of water and snacks on each drive

  • Birding walks in the sand forest will be guided walks but will be complementary

  • Nature trails and mountain biking are also great ways to explore the area

The lodge places a strong emphasis on responsible tourism and strives to ensure the protection of Africa's spectacular natural heritage in a manner that is beneficial to the people who inhabit the land. The new lodge celebrates traditional Thonga and Zulu culture; customs and their pastoral way of life.
